| Most of the lubricants noted in the excerpt from the Service Manual can be difficult to find. |
| Here are the modern day "conversions" that you can use: |
| Renotac No. 342 Adhesive Oil |
| Use Automotive Synthetic Motor Oil 10W-30W |
| BP Super Viscostatic 10W/30 |
| Use Automotive Synthetic Motor Oil 10W-30W |
| Shell Alvania No. 2 |
| Use any White Lithium Based Grease with the consistency of Vaseline, but don't use Vaseline. |
| Isoflex PDP 40 |
| Use Automotive Synthetic Motor Oil 10W-30W |
| Silicone Oil AK 500 000 |
| Go to a hobby shop that sells Model Electric Trains or Slot Cars, ask them for Silicone Oil |
| 500,000 Weight. They should stock it. |
| Molykote |
| Use any White Lithium Based Grease with the consistency of Vaseline, but don't use Vaseline. |
| You must clean off all the old lubricants before applying the new! Cotton Swabs and isopropyl |
| alcohol do a good job for this task. |
Remember to use these lubricants sparingly, a little goes a long way! |
